Thanks to Jeanette Higham for this report.
The end of the 2024 season was marked with the popular, and fiercely contested, Vet’s Club Championship held, this year, at Rhuddlan Bowling Club.
President Pauline Lindley, Immediate Past President Jack Hunt and members of the WCGBA Management were all in attendance. Their support can be relied upon for all of the WCGBA events throughout the year and they must clock up many miles and hours for everyone’s benefit.
The trophy is known as the Mel Higham Trophy and brother, Peter was there to honour both his late brother and the championship.
