BCGBA Champion of Champions 2025

For those who travelled to Owley Wood near Weaverham last Saturday saw a great day’s bowling. This year there were 64 competitors and Wales had four contenders.

Played over two greens, John Bailey had the best run, qualifying for the semi-final. He was knocked out by Ant Walker, who eventually lost in the final to Ash Wellings.

Our Ladies on the Sunday were not so fortunate. Nicola Boulton and Sarah Lowndes both lost 21-17 in the first round, but displayed the skill that got them their place in this popular end of season competition.
