SUCCESS FOR JESS LACEY

Thanks to Jeanette Higham for this report.

Mention must be made of the outstanding performance by Jess Lacey at the British Junior Ladies Final at Heswell recently. Not only did she retain the title – in this her last year as a Junior player – but she did it in style. Her toughest game was with fellow Welsh girl player, Lois Jones where Jess won 21-18. She now qualifies for the BCGBA Ladies Champion of Champions to be held at Owley Wood on Sunday 29thSeptember.
