WCGBA Press Officer Vacancy

The WCGBA is looking to appoint a Press Officer to act as a media liaison on behalf the Association. Tasks will include preparing press releases, communicating with media and monitoring media coverage.

Candidates for this role should be fluent in English and have good writing, editing, and communication skills. A knowledge of the Welsh language would be welcome but is not essential.

Responsibilities

  • Write articles and press releases
  • Communicate with media representatives and respond to journalists’ questions
  • Build relationships with media representatives
  • Update social media pages when necessary
  • Monitor media coverage

The role will attract an annual honorarium and full support, training and guidance will be given.
