Welcome, This is the home of Crown Green Bowling in Wales

Wales 413 Yorkshire 449

After having a bye in the first round Wales lost to a very strong Yorkshire team by 36 despite some excellent individual performances. The Home leg at Esclusham Bowling Club resulted in a win for Wales by 13 points with 8 winners including a fine 21-4 win by Matty Worden. The away leg played on a tricky green at Ossett Bowling Club was lost by 49 despite wins by John Short 21-13, Jason Jones and Andrew Hughes 21-19. The rest of the team fought hard with special mention going to late entry reserves Neil Hayes and Paul Bradley who performed extremely well to both lose narrowly. That concludes the Senior Mens team’s participation in this truncated season and focus will now turn to the 2022 campaign.
