The following grants are available from Flintshire
County Council to voluntary groups that provide services within the county.
Development Grants
The Development Grant Scheme can support voluntary organisations
with a potential maximum grant of £25,000 with priority given to applications
under £10,000. Both ‘revenue’ and capital schemes are eligible.
Grants are available in three rounds through the year.
1st Round (at which around 75% of the total budget
is allocated) has a closing date of 26th January 2007.
2nd Round (at which around 15% of the total budget
is allocated) has a closing date around the end of April.
3rd Round (at which around 10% of the total budget
is allocated) has a closing date around the end of July.
Community Chest Grants (This fund has closed for 2006/07)
The Community Chest Grant Scheme can offer grants for ‘one off’ or Capital
items up to a maximum of £1,000. No running costs are eligible.
There are usually up to four rounds through the year.
